AAP Aviation is one of the leading global providers of Crew Management Services to the airline industry. Our services include Crew Management, Recruitment, Training, and Planning & Scheduling. We are now seeking a part time (50%, 18,5 hours per week) Recruitment Coordinator to join our Recruitment team. The position will initially be a temporary assignment for approximately 2-3 months (depending on available start-up), with possibilities for extension.

The Recruitment Coordinator will work from our Copenhagen office, but might also attend some work travels (particularly within Scandinavia) as needed.

About the Role

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support our recruitment and compliance processes by conducting individual security interviews and performing phone reference checks. These tasks are essential in ensuring the integrity and quality of our candidate selection and background-check procedures.

In addition, you may be involved in a limited set of additional recruitment and administrative tasks, such as:

• Assisting at assessment days when required.

• Supporting documentation workflows connected to background checks.

• Providing general support to the recruitment team when extra capacity is needed.


Duties and Responsibilities

Primary focus:

• Conduct structured security interviews (face-to-face) with candidates.

• Perform phone reference checks and document findings clearly and accurately.

Additional responsibilities (as needed):

• Support background-check documentation and administrative routines.

• Assist during assessment days, including coordination and candidate support.

• Provide reactive support to candidate inquiries.

• Organize and maintain documentation in internal systems.

• Communicate professionally with candidates, colleagues, and stakeholders.


Qualifications and Experience

• Currently pursuing or completed higher education (HR, psychology, administration, or similar fields beneficial, but not required).

• Experience or interest in recruitment, HR, or administrative work is an advantage.

• Experience from the aviation industry is considered an advantage.

• Strong communication skills in English; Scandinavian language skills are a plus.

• Right to live and work in Denmark.


Personal Skills and Knowledge

• Comfortable conducting individual interviews and speaking with candidates in English.

• High level of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

• Good administrative skills and attention to detail.

• Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.

• Competent user of common IT tools (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).


What We Offer

• A 50% part time position (18,5 hours per week). The role involves working two days per week (the specific days are agreed upon together) in the office for conducting security interviews, with the remaining hours worked from home at times that suit the individual during the day or afternoon.
